Faye Is Halfway Here!

What an exciting week!

Thursday, we got to see our sweet baby Faye for my 20 week check-up! All of her stats are perfect and my early glucose test came back great. Adam still has no idea what we're talking about in these appointments when we say "there's baby Faye", but he'll know soon enough when she gets here!

Friday, we had a long list of plans... but Meghan called to ask if Adam and I wanted to visit with her and Madelyn - and of course we did! Before that though, a local church was having a kid-only consignment sale, so we got lots of summer clothes for Adam (and a few items for Faye) since he didn't have any. We made our way to the Sullivan house and spent the rest of the morning loving on them. Adam played outside with the dog and cats, while I caught up with Meghan and loved on Madelyn. I'm so happy we got to because I haven't seen Meghan in forever! They're thinking that Easter will be Madelyn's debut at church since she'll be getting her first set of vaccines earlier that week.

We got home, ate Zaxby's, napped, then got right back on the road for more errands. We went to Staples to pick up Adam's party invitations - and of course, they weren't ready. In fact, they didn't have my order even in the system, even though I had my confirmation number in my email. I had to use their computer to pull up the invitations (which I thankfully saved on their website) and resubmit it. It turned out okay though because I LOVE how they turned out! Here's a sneak peek:

Saturday was another busy day! We went to a local event called Touch-A-Truck where dozens of trucks, tractors, buses, and even a helicopter for children to look at and sit in. It took place close to the train tracks so we also got to see several trains pass. Adam loved all of it!

Rusty even got out his old Hot Wheels to play with Adam and show off different trucks!

Sunday was church, lunch with Memaw's side of the family to celebrate his grandmother's 82nd birthday (a picture of the cake I made for her is below), then Grammy and Grandpa came over to visit for a little while. All of this was fun and great - but since the time changed, Adam was woken up early and never took a nap. By the end of the day, he was not in a good mood.

Monday hit me like a ton of bricks. I went grocery shopping and Rusty got home a little early, which worked out perfectly - because from about 5pm to 9am, I spent my time with my head in a toilet. It was awful! I don't know when I have vomited that much in that short amount of time. I am still sore and weak from it all. I believe I pulled a muscle in my back from it all. I still can't quite eat much because I'm still queasy. Unfortunately, Adam, about 5am the same night, woke up throwing up too. He kept on until about 9am also - so we can be thankful that it didn't last long for him. We've spent the last couple of days laying around and eating little because of how bad we've felt.

Fingers crossed that it stays away from Rusty!
